(Misc.) I was happy to try all three of these perfumes for men as I have been unhappy with most men's fragrences, but love great smells. I have even gone to the extreme of buying my own exotic and expensive essential oils and trying to come up with something I like, and have, but nothing beats a professional quality perfume. Clive Christian does have exceptional quality, and the price is worth the quality. Trust me, at $500/oz or more for some of the essential oil ingredients, making a quality perfume is expensive and it is not all just hype and brand name. Personally, I liked X the best of the three, because it has less floral and a more spice/oak/moss and earthy smell. It has enough floral to make it light and pleasing, but is more masculine and modern smelling. No 1 is my second favorite, but the top notes are a little too strong for me and it takes a while for the heart and base notes to develop in my opinion.
